One day we decided to learn Everett Transit buses. A Christmas present for Dad that we wanted to get was available only at Evergreen Mall. So, we found ourselves on the 510 to Everett Station.

I commented, "Let's show that we can be civil, even in Snohomish County."

We arrived at Everett Station, and headed into the facility to look up bus schedules. We decided to take Route 1, the longer way, to get the grand tour of the city. Little did we realize who also wanted to head to Evergreen Mall.

At 9:10, Route 4 pulled up and guess who got off of it. Here's a hint: she has four children and makes unwelcomed moves on me in Renton.

"Shit, I'm dead," I said to my sisters.

"We're one step ahead, we already spotted her," Jessica whispered as both of my sisters held me tightly. Just the, Route 1 pulled up. After the operator deployed the ramp, we quickly boarded.

Guess who else wanted the #1 Evergreen Mall? Rusty came to the bus, and we kept really quiet. Rusty asked the driver, "The 20 is faster to the mall, right?"

The driver replied, "That's correct." Rusty left the bus.

"We're riding Everett Transit for the first time and we want to head to Evergreen Mall," Tracey explained to the operator.

"Does the 20 go by the Tag Buy and National Bank," I asked, "That's our actual destination."

"Yes, it does," the operator replied.

About 45 minutes later, we were dropped off at the National Bank, and we spotted the Tag Buy nearby. The driver also showed us the shelter of where to catch the bus back to Everett Station.

We entered the National Bank and pulled out $200 for spending in Everett, and proceeded to the Tag Buy. "I know what we should get," I suggested. Both girls knew exactly what I wanted.

"One for both of you," Jessica offered. We got our game, and proceeded to pay for it. After Tag Buy, we headed for the mall.

"We're going to be civil and mind our own business," I instructed my sisters, "Next stop is the food court." My stomach was rumbling, so I knew that it was time. We headed into the food court, and so far we didn't spot her. We went to the Underground Subs and we each had a foot-long.

My sisters helped me to a seat, and we had a great lunch. "I like this mall, and I think Everett is a great area. Too bad that its fare boxes are from the dark ages," I commented. We didn't spot her as we made our way back to the bus.

We boarded the 20 back to Everett Station, since this was the faster bus, at 11:50 AM after a good lunch. As we boarded the bus, Tracey noticed someone with a stroller running for the bus. I spotted her to. "Shit, I'm dead," I whispered to both girls.

Another passenger yelled out, "Someone's running for the bus!" Rusty and children boarded the 20. Go figure, guess who she wanted to talk to.

"I want to apologize for my actions in Seattle the other day," she said to us. Maybe she didn't realize that my main issue with her was in Renton, not Seattle. Anyhow, I didn't want to talk to her.

Jessica said politely, "Leave us alone. Please ride a different bus. I won't ask again."

Rusty did not catch a different bus, but she did go sit in the back away from us. The bus operator noted our polite request just in case something did happen. We felt sort of relieved and we were happy to see Everett Station, especially when she didn't board the 510 bus. We were going to board the 510 back to Seattle. When we got to Everett Station, she did not follow us onto the 510 and we felt relieved to see Downtown Seattle without her on the bus.

We got onto the 101 safely and proceeded to make out way back to Renton. We had no further issues as we geared up for our court date that was coming up.
