A few days into living in DuPont, we got a phone call. Our twenty-five year-old sister, Jessica was calling. Tracey answered and put her on speaker phone. We haven't heard from her in years, and we sorely missed her. She missed us badly and wondered how things were in Virginia.

"Well, it's boring here in Pierce County..."

"PIERCE COUNTY!? WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU," Jessica (interrupting us) shouted.

I replied, "We live with dad now in Washington. Why?"

"I'm on the next bus south. I want to see you two. Why didn't dad tell me!?"

Tracey and I were the only ones home. Tracey answered, "We can't get to you. The nearest bus stop is 2.6 miles away and it's served by the 592." The line disconnected, and then there was another call. It was Jessica again and we put her on speaker phone again.

"I'm calling from my cell. I don't care if I have to walk ten miles. I want to see you two again," Jessica spoke.

"If you do take the bus, be sure it's the 592 going to DuPont. We're living with dad now," I answered, "Hang on, dad's home."

"Dad, it's Jess."

Dad answered (with Jess still on speaker phone), "Hello Jessica. How are you?"

"Why didn't you tell me the twins are in DuPont?"

"I don't know," dad answered looking frustrated.

Tracey asked, "Dad, can you take us to Steilacoom so we can catch a bus to Jessica's house?"

Jessica said insistingly, "Dad, I want to see them. Take them to where they can get a bus. Tracey, do you know how to get to Renton?"

Tracey answered, "I think. Let me see. Take the 574 from Lakewood to Federal Way and get the 565 to Renton Transit Center. Jess, can you meet us at the Renton Transit Center?"

"Sure," Jessica answered, "do you have enough bus fare?"

I answered (meanwhile, Tracey was looking up bus schedules), "I have a Regional Reduced Fare Permit with Tracey as my PCA. I also have a $1.50 SoundPass. Is that enough?"

"Yes, that is enough. Shoot, do you go up to Seattle or something?"

I answered, "Yeah..."

Tracey interrupted, "Dad, the bus leaves Steilacoom in 20 minutes. Jess, we gotta go. We'll see you in Renton." I hung up the phone. "C'mon dad, let's go."

Dad dropped us on in Steilacoom where we could get the 212. Tracey got my crutches ready and assisted me out of the car. The 212 finally came, and the driver told us that there would be a nine minute wait. When we finally arrived in Lakewood, we had a ten minute wait for the 574.

We boarded the 574, and I was ecstatic. I really missed my big sister and Tracey & I really wanted to see here again. The ride on the 574 seemed to take a while, but there was no problems getting to Federal Way.

We had a few minutes, but the 565 came. We boarded it and Tracey called Jessica. "We’re on the 565 and will see you soon at the Renton Transit Center."

"I’ll see you two soon. Love both of you," Jess replied.

We finally arrived in Renton, and there was Jessica, waiting for us. "May I have the lift, please," I asked the driver.

The operator deployed the lift, and Tracey and I got off of the bus. Never have I seen a woman so happy to see me as that day when Jessica was meeting up with us in Renton.

"You two don’t know how much I miss you," Jessica cried as I started hugging her. "We will need the 105 to get to my place. I hope you both like it there." My sister was so happy to see us for the first time in six years that she was in tears. A Renton Police Officer came over to check on us.

"Is everything all right," the officer asked.

Tracey responded, "We haven't seen our sister in six years. She's just so happy to see us. Thanks for checking up on us though."

So, we boarded the 105, and it wasn’t long at all until Jessica was yanking the cord to get off. "I have a big two bedroom place. You two still share a bed, right?"

"Yes, we do," I answered.

"I have a giant California King in my room. You’re both more than welcome to share it with me," Jessica answered as we got off of the bus.

We arrived at Jessica’s apartment. It was huge, so I asked, "Jess, how do you afford this?"

"I work at WorldSoft’s Redmond campus, and they treat me really well," Jessica answered.

Jessica took us into her apartment and let us put our things down. "Tomorrow is my day off. What do you two want to do?"

"Well, we were looking into attending school. Maybe all three of us could go," Tracey decided.

"I don’t mind going," Jessica responded. "Who’s hungry?" Tracey and I were both hungry. Jessica responded with, "well, since I wanted to head to Tukwila Mall to pick something up, we’ll head to the food court first."

The 140 dropped us off at Southcenter. Jess told us, "Let me lead you to the food court." I was clinging on to Tracey wanting her affection.

"I know you love me," Tracey whispered, "I love you too."

We arrived at Tukwila, and Jess took us to Big John's. We had a good dinner, and Jess told us, "I have something to pickup at Chicago's, so we’ll head there next."

After picking up a DVD/VCR player at Chicago's, we boarded the 140 to head back to Jessica’s place. It was late in the evening and Jessica invited us into her room saying, "You two may share the bed with me as long as you don’t mind me in my birthday suit."

"Don’t worry, Jess. We still wear our birthday suits as well," I responded. Jess pulled me onto the bed and held me tightly. With this, the three of us climbed into bed and we fell asleep with me hugging Jessica and Tracey tightly.
