Hurricane Isabel was fast approaching. Tracey said, "I still have to work. Do you mind going to Groceries+ and getting $100 cash out of the ATM?"

"Sure," I said.

Tracey then gave me the PIN and said, "Feel free to have lunch with me when you're done."

"Right, then we got to get going to our cousin's house once you get off," I said.

As planned, my sis wheeled me up to the Route 15 bus stop then, after the bus picked me up, headed to work.

As I was preparing to catch the 15 back home, I got a phone call. "Michael? This is Brenda - Tracey's boss. I'm shutting down for the day and sending her home."

I responded, "I'm on the bus coming from Wards Corner and should be there in about 5 minutes. Do you think you could squeeze me in for lunch?"

"Yeah, I can do that. Knock and I'll let you in," Brenda replied, "What would you like to eat? No charge since I already shut the registers down. I'll have it ready when you get here."

I placed my order and thanked her as the bus pulled up to Little Creek and Hampton and I said to the driver, "Let everyone else off first. I do not need the 2.".

"Thanks," The driver said.

The lift set me down and I wheeled my way across the street. As requested, I knocked on the door and was let in. "You two have your lunch then I'm closing down for the day," Brenda explained to Tracey and I.

"Thanks for letting me have lunch," I said.

"No problem. I know you and Tracey need to take a long bus ride into Virginia Beach," She said as Tracey and I took to a table.

Tracey and I were packed and ready to catch our bus. "We're going to take the 15 to the 12 and get a ride from Downtown Kempsville," My sister explained, "The fun part is getting you around our cousin's house. At least we're getting the downstairs bedroom with Maria."

"That helps," I said as we pulled up to the Route 15 stop.
